As some of you may know, Wednesday January 28, 2009, MICHAEL WON FIRST PLACE IN THE PINEWOOD DERBY! We were so happy...especially Rob! Michaels car not only won first place but also won most creative! It was named "The Star Wars Car". Don't you see why?!

Way to go, Mikey - congratulations on winning the pinewood derby! Hey, it looks like ole Luke has got his trusty droid, R2-D2 with him, but he's wearing the helmet of a clone warrior and he's missing his right arm! He must have ridden on your pinewood car after his encounter with Darth Vader in Empire Strikes Back!

Hey Michael! Congratulations on your cool pinewood derby win! You fit right into this family perfectly! Jason and Eric and Marcus all won trophies at their derbies, too (although not always for FIRST place!) Way to go! I also LOVE the design! Did you know that I am a HUGE Star Wars fan? In fact, I probably saw the original movie before your Dad even did! Ha!
Anyway, congratulations on your great accomplishment! Be proud of all your hard work!
